American Airlines Cargo has announced its widebody schedule for the 2025/2026 winter season that includes new routes and increases.

Roger Samways, vice president of commercial at American Airlines Cargo, said: “We are entering this season with new routes, increased frequencies and the highest widebody capacity in Latin America since 2022 to offer our customers more solutions to connect cargo around the world.”

This winter, the airline adds a fourth daily flight between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport (EZE), operated by a Boeing 777-300ER.

In addition, a daily service will be launched from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão International Airport (GIG) and EZE on Boeing 787 aircraft.

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) will also have daily service to GIG.

On the other side of the Pacific, American Airlines Cargo is increasing its capacity in Brisbane by introducing a new service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Brisbane Airport (BNE).

The airline is also reintroducing its daily service from DFW to BNE and Auckland International Airport (AKL), operated by Boeing 787-9 and 787-8 aircraft, respectively.

In the transatlantic region, there will be daily service from MIA to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

Domestically, the launch of service from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to Honolulu (HNL) will improve connectivity to and from Hawaii and support interline connections to the Asia-Pacific region.

Samways said: “From Latin America to the Pacific and across the Atlantic, we are strategically expanding our widebody network to meet growing demand and provide greater cargo capacity on key global trade routes.”
