AGIBOT NIGHT presents humanoid robots in the world’s first live robot-led gala

AGIBOT organized “AGIBOT NIGHT” in Shanghai on February 8, 2026, with a 60-minute live gala broadcast, described as the first large-scale cultural event carried out entirely by humanoid robots. Unlike previous events, robots were the main actors, showing dance, comedy, music and magic shows. The event aimed to promote the transition of embodied intelligence from controlled laboratory environments to real-world social and entertainment scenarios, while also test the operation stability and coordination of multiple robots operating in unison.

The performances showed advanced motion control and synchronization. Robots performed complex physical actions such as cartwheels, quick spins, catwalk performances, and large-scale synchronized dance performances, all while maintaining timing and balance during continuous performances.

The collaborative performances involved human dancers performing alongside AGIBOT G2 humanoid robots and D1 quadruped robotsfocusing on real-time coordination of human and robotic movement. Other performances included collaborative magic shows with human magicians, magic shows with robots, and comedy skits intended to highlight expressive behavior and interaction between multiple humanoid robots. Co-branding programs with consumer and lifestyle brands showed potential applications outside of industrial settings.

The gala also provided the opportunity to showcase the line of humanoid robotics products offered by AGIBOT. full size robots a2 showed multimodal interaction and autonomous navigation, robots x2 showed conversational abilities and expressive movements, g2 robots showed industrial and logistical manipulation, and D1 Quadruped Robots showed mobility in complex operating environments.

Instead of focusing on individual technological advances, the event highlighted large-scale reliability and system-level implementation. With More than 5,000 humanoid robots will be shipped worldwide by the end of 2025.AGIBOT positioned the event as a demonstration of growing commercial readiness and scalability.

The gala was held during China’s Spring Festival and also explored the cultural aspect of robotics, presenting humanoid robots as potential participants in shared social experiences and human activities beyond traditional industrial applications.
