Is Lizzo pregnant?
Unfortunately, that’s just one of the questions that fans and critics ask after the recent photographs of the singer.
Questions have been raised about the authenticity (you’ll see) of the photos that Lizzo herself shared.
He gets a lot of questions and in some cases, fans hit the unfollow button. What is happening?
Is Lizzo pregnant?
On the afternoon of Thursday, October 30, Lizzo started Halloween a little early with a instagram mail.
“Halloween is so cheesy,” she captioned the post.
Lizzo tagged the restaurant chain Chili’s in the caption.
The image itself showed a small mozzarella stick (the same kind served at Chili’s, research tells us) in her hands and an image of a larger one behind her.
In the post itself, Lizzo appears to be wearing a dress made of stringy mozzarella cheese.
Obviously, mozzarella sticks are one of the most wonderful foods in the world.
They are very in shape, size and density, but all They are perfect creations.
However, these posts sparked speculation that Lizzo might be pregnant.
After her dramatic weight loss journey, which was itself controversial, she looked curvier in this kitschy look.
Was the cheese adding more curvature than there really is? Are you pregnant? Or was there a completely new controversy that created the appearance of a different silhouette?
Oh no, did Lizzo use AI?
Some looked closely at these photos and didn’t get the impression that Lizzo is pregnant.
Instead, they accused the rapper of creating these images with generative “AI” technology.
AI generation is deservedly controversial, especially when it comes to rendering images.
In addition to this technology being hugely destructive to the environment, rendering images means stealing the work of real photographers and artists, and also cheating real artists out of work they could have done.
Simply put, there is no ethical use for creating AI generative images, just like writing and those sad “AI girlfriends.” It’s all terrible and therefore sparked a backlash against Lizzo.

Truth be told, it’s not immediately clear if this image uses generative AI.
We’re not just saying this because we like Lizzo. The singer is perfectly capable of generating controversy and we have recognized that before.
However, it is possible that he was wearing a suit under imitation cheese. There are materials, including some body-safe “slimes,” that can give the appearance of melted mozzarella.
(Think of it as the opposite of the “everything is cake” trend.)
In fact, one of the photos appears to show a glimpse of a sneaker, as if the material had split during the photo shoot and revealed a bit of Lizzo’s shoe. That said… we can’t completely rule out generative AI.
What is the truth?
Unfortunately, we cannot state with absolute certainty that generic AI is not used. We hope there isn’t.
Many of us have never engaged with technology due to ethical concerns (and general disinterest in what critics call scams), and we’d love for Lizzo to be in the same boat.
Perhaps most importantly, there is no evidence that Lizzo is pregnant.
The outfit would explain why she looked slightly different. We’re talking about costume layers.
And if there were generative AI involved… well, we’re talking about a flawed technology that does almost everything wrong. This absurd technology that is apparently ready to tank the economy as soon as the bubble bursts could easily add a few pounds to someone.
