British brand Topshop appears in John Lewis ahead of its return to the high street

Topshop is accelerating its return to physical retail with the launch of a series of exclusive pop-ups in selected John Lewis stores.

Launching from November 3, Topshop will be available in four stores nationwide with pop-ups taking center stage on the womenswear floor of John Lewis’ Oxford Street, Bristol, Leeds and Liverpool stores in London.

Topshop is making an early return to physical retail with pop-ups in four John Lewis stores (London Oxford Street, Bristol, Leeds and Liverpool) from 3 November. Select editions will rotate weekly and offer denim, outerwear, knitwear and party wear. The initiative precedes a full launch in 32 John Lewis stores in February 2026.

Each pop-up will feature a curated selection of around 30 fashion pieces, changing weekly. Expect statement outerwear, iconic denim, cult knits and must-have partywear, all available in-store and via the John Lewis app.

To celebrate their residency, the first 100 customers in each store will receive a coveted Topshop handbag, with more giveaways planned throughout the 6-week takeover. On Oxford Street, Topshop will be hosting weekly DJ sets every Thursday night from 13 November. Each week, a guest DJ will take to the decks and provide live music and energy to shoppers in the store.

Michelle Wilson, CEO of Topshopsaid: “We’ve seen an incredible response to Topshop’s return and know our customers are excited to shop the brand in person again. Taking our winter and holiday collections beyond London, Topshop pop-ups bring our signature energy and style to venues across the UK, just in time for the festive season.”

Until Christmas, the pop-ups offer a seasonal snapshot of Topshop’s collection, from elevated essentials to directional denim and statement pieces that channel the brand’s unmistakable attitude.

Rachel Morgans, fashion director at John Lewissaid: “John Lewis is the home of Christmas, which is when our customers are looking for those seasonal must-haves. We’ve been hearing how excited they are about the return of Topshop, so as their only nationwide partner, this seemed like the perfect time for a ‘preview’ pop-up. We’re bringing a curated edit of on-trend winter and party wear to our stores in Oxford Street, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool and on our London app. It’s an exciting glimpse of what’s to come next year.”

The move comes ahead of Topshop’s full-scale launch in 32 John Lewis stores, with Topman in six of the stores, planned for February 2026.

With their bold new look and new retail concept, Topshop pop-ups are set to reignite excitement on the high street, just in time for the busiest shopping season of the year.
