Arne Slot is under increasing pressure at Liverpool after another defeat for the reigning Premier League champions, according to Soccer insider information.
Liverpool suffered a defeat to Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup in midweek, which was the Reds’ sixth defeat in their last seven games.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “Yes, obviously the pressure is definitely increasing. As you said, Liverpool’s form hasn’t been good enough.”
“There are six defeats in their last seven games, they got that victory in the Champions League last week and people thought that could give them a springboard.
“Then they lost to Brentford in the league, and it was a young team that lost to Palace in the cup, and from the outside it looked like Slot had called the game off.
“So, yes, there are a huge couple of weeks ahead for Arne Slot.
“No one saw this coming, Liverpool have fallen into form after starting the season with five wins in a row.
“So, yes, these are really worrying times for Liverpool and the pressure will increase if results don’t improve quickly.”
