Recently, the calm down The singer attended the Rare Impact Fund’s third annual event in Los Angeles. While chatting at the event, Selena Gomez spoke about her husband, Benny Blanco,’s support of her in promoting mental health awareness. She was quoted as saying:
“I think it’s important to have someone around you, especially a partner who understands where your values are and what’s important to you, and if you don’t align morally, sometimes, it can be a little confusing. I know what matters to him and he knows what matters to me and we’re just there for each other.”
During the same conversation, Selena Gomez was asked if music producer Benny Blanco was ready to bid for the event’s featured item, to which the singer responded with a smile and shared that Benny is also a part of it. In his words:
“Yes, he is competing with himself, he always says ‘I want to be a part of’ and I say ‘okay, you can do it’.”

“I have to deal with a lot of (dexterity issues) myself and it can be frustrating. Even opening a can can hurt. I’m really glad it came out, but that’s not necessarily who I am now. To be honest, I can’t see it. But it’s just because I’m not there anymore. It was like they couldn’t wait to find something to knock me down.”
