Late Tuesday night, the Moon stomps into earthy, fixed Taurus, where it will begin creating a fixed T-square opposing Mercury in Scorpio and both square Pluto in Aquarius. Those who are awake at that moment should prepare for a brief period of extreme intransigence because it is unlikely that anyone will be in the mood to change their mind. Hopefully the effects will wear off in the morning, allowing the Taurus Moon to wander around encouraging us to pace ourselves during the day on Wednesday. On Wednesday afternoon or early evening, the Taurus Moon will oppose Mars in Scorpio, and if we choose to be pragmatic about our options and look for common ground, the possibilities are promising for solving our problems with others.
Thursday finds the Taurus Moon in a much better position. After spending the morning unaspected, you’ll sextile optimistic Jupiter in Cancer at noon, then trine gentle Venus in Virgo during the afternoon. Both aspects are great for giving us a good meal, pleasant company in a clean and quiet environment. In the late afternoon, the Taurus Moon forms a sextile with Saturn retrograde in Pisces before losing its way until Thursday night. Except for the rush of angst in the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday morning, the Moon in Taurus can help us regain a slow, steady pace that allows us to work diligently toward our goals. This is also a wonderful time to go outside to smell the flowers, breathe some fresh air, and relax in the sun. Oh. . . And eat good chocolate! It’s time to celebrate the senses.
