Previously, the creators of kalki released an official statement on his social media, revealing Deepika Padukone’s exit from the film. The filmmakers revealed that it was a matter of commitment on the part of the actress that led them to decide to separate.

The producers were willing to provide Deepika with a luxurious boudoir to rest in, in exchange for more hours of shooting, but she refused.”
