Television couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are currently making headlines for allegedly going through a rough patch in their 14 years of marital bliss. For the unversed, Jay and Mahhi got married in 2011 and embraced parenthood in 2019, welcoming a baby girl, Tara. They are also adoptive parents to Rajveer and Khushi, whom they welcomed into their home in 2017. Now, amidst the separation rumor, Mahhi Vij took to her Instagram Stories and shared a cryptic post.

However, the duo, who were once known for their collaborative videos, stopped appearing together online after June 2024. They made their last public appearance together for their daughter, Tara’s, birthday in August 2025. Now that the duo is reportedly breaking up, Mahhi Vij shared a cryptic note on her Instagram Stories on October 27, 2025. The note can be read as:
“May we always have money to buy the things we catch.”

In 2011, the couple in love, Mahhi and Jay, had a secret wedding. The duo had a big wedding in Las Vegas again in 2014. However, their seemingly happy family is breaking up. Jay recently shared cute photos and videos of himself with his daughters during a trip abroad. And according to a Hindustan Times report, Mahhi moved to a new house with the children two weeks ago.
Although Jay and Mahhi have not made any official statement about their separation, a source told Hindustan Times that the separation happened a long time ago between Jay and Mahhi. The couple tried hard to mend their relationship, but nothing changed. The source was quoted as saying:
“A lot was tried, but nothing changed. The separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months ago. The papers were signed and finalized in July-August, and custody of the children was also decided.”
When Mahhi Vij got irritated with people and media intrusion in her married life.
Speculation that Mahhi and Jay’s marriage is going through a rough patch and that they are considering separating has been in the headlines for quite some time now. Speaking to Hauterrfly, Mahhi shared that even if something is wrong in her marital paradise, she is not okay with sharing it with others. She mentioned that people just assume and blame her and Jay without knowing any facts. Visibly upset by the current rumour, Mahhi said:
“Even if that’s the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fees? Why do people make such a big deal about someone’s divorce or separation? I see people writing in my comments section, ‘Mahi toh decent hai, Jay aisa hai’. Then someone else writes, ‘Jay accha hai, Mahi hi aise hai’. They just want to blame someone. Do you even know the truth? What? You know?”
