Rumors about Emiru and Mizkif’s romance had circulated for years, fueled by their close friendship, on-screen chemistry, and the fact that they were roommates and colleagues. During her recent livestream, Emiru shared screenshots of messages allegedly sent by Mizkif following their breakup, including lengthy apologies, repeated pleas to talk, and attempts at reconciliation, all of which she allegedly ignored. And when I screamed, he jumped off me, like a cat, and instead of apologizing and checking to see if I was okay, he said, ‘Now I feel weird, I feel like I did something wrong,’ I have to go.’ And he immediately left my house while I was still crying.”
What happened between Emiru and Mizkif at TwitchCon 2025?
On October 17, 2025, days before her explosive livestream, Emiru (real name Emily Schunk) was assaulted during a match at TwitchCon held in San Diego. A fan reportedly went past the security barriers and grabbed his face forcefully. Although Emiru’s personal security team intervened quickly, event staff were slow to respond. After the incident, the cosplayer criticized Twitch for mishandling the incident, making her feel unsafe despite having security.

He is also a founding member of One True King (OTK) and enjoys over 2.1 million followers on his main channel and over 1 million subscribers on YouTube. However, after recent incidents, his followers have decreased significantly, losing over 9,500 followers as of October 2025.
Despite his popularity, Mizkif has a history of controversies, including multiple bans from Twitch. Yes, you read that right: multiple. The streaming platform first banned him in May 2019, when his Twitch channel was disabled for seven days after he allegedly harassed a female streamer at PAX East.
On January 13, 2023, he faced another ban for viewing content from banned streamer Grossgore. However, Twitch lifted the ban in less than 24 hours. Less than a month later, he faced another one-day ban on February 7, 2023, due to a DMCA violation for airing the reality show MILF Manor. He also gained attention for sleeping on the broadcast, controversial jokes, and a candid discussion of mental health issues, including a psychiatric hospitalization in 2019.
Twitch banned Mizkif’s channel after his controversial Charlie Kirk comment

Bro, you gotta be kidding me, Pluto! In the middle of my sponsor. Seriously? Bro! Is this for real? Why am I getting banned? Dude, fuck Twitch, man! Screw this nonsense! Why? Mizkif responds to Emiru’s accusations
Mizkif addressed Emiru’s accusations on his own livestream, calling their past relationship “deeply toxic.” He admitted to aggressive behavior but claimed some actions were mutual, adding that Emiru often became “violent” during arguments.
