A 17-YEAR-OLD girl is said to have been lured into a car by her ex-boyfriend before being gang-raped by five Syrian asylum seekers.

The prosecutor’s office in Aachen, Germany, has launched an investigation into the five young men who allegedly raped the teenager.

The alleged perpetrators are Syrian asylum seekers between the ages of 17 and 26, the prosecutor’s office confirmed.

The young woman claimed that the alleged abuse took place in one of the asylum seeker’s apartments.

The teenager told police she was attacked after being lured to one of the suspect’s apartments in the town of Heinsberg.

She claimed she was gang-raped by a group of men on Saturday morning last week.

A day later, German special forces invaded an apartment in Heinsberg-Unterbruch, near the Dutch border.

It is believed that the girl’s ex-boyfriend convinced the teenager to meet up.

When he picked her up in his car, three other men suddenly got into the vehicle.

The three men and two other suspects are said to have raped the girl in an apartment.

Her ex-boyfriend was not said to be involved in the crime.

The young woman, who police say is not German, spoke to a friend about the alleged abuse she had suffered and her parents alerted the police.

During the search of the apartment by special forces, a Taser and a pistol were found.

The girl had reportedly been threatened with these before the abusive attack.

The five Syrians are believed to have lived in Germany for a considerable time.

His nationality remains unknown.

Four of the five suspects were arrested immediately after the alleged attack and, according to investigators, the fifth surrendered after he managed to escape police custody.

The investigating judge stated that the police already knew the asylum seekers.
