The Full Super Harvest Moon in Aries: The Hoodwitch

The October 6 Super Harvest Full Moon in Aries peaks at 8:47 pm Pacific Time and 11:47 pm Eastern Time. This is our cosmic wake-up call to move towards who or what we love and makes us happy. The first Supermoon of 2025 and Full Moon of autumn wants us to transcend. No more excuses. Do it!

The Supermoon occurs when the Moon is at perigee with respect to the Earth. The proximity of these ethereal entities allows us to observe the Moon from a different perspective. It appears to be larger in size, which is not the case. However, we will intensely feel the lunar vibration due to the attraction that the Moon exerts on us earthlings (we are composed of approximately 60% water, and the power of the Moon controls the tides due to its gravitational attraction on our planet). Prepare for an intense and revealing evening on October 6.

The Full Moon in Aries aims to enliven our lives with metamorphic changes. Think back to March 29, when the solar eclipse in Aries inspired us to take bold steps. We are now seeing the benefits of our passions and risk taking. The Full Moon wants us to reflect and evaluate how we can move forward and gain more power. What steps do we need to strengthen our energy and confidence? Owning our story and narrative is key because we are in charge of our choices, and these decisions must speak to us on a sincere level so that we can carry them out.

Earlier in the day, Mercury slides into Scorpio, making us more aware of our surroundings. Mercury in Scorpio is not known for its communication skills, as this placement relies on intuition above anything else. We can intensify that feeling during the Full Moon: the next day, October 7, Mercury squares Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Be careful not to lose control over the information because we can rush and react immediately without knowing the facts. Act like a real detective and gather the details first before confronting others, because we could be wrong in what we say. The best way to gain clarity is to ask questions and discuss them maturely.

All in all, this is a time to reconnect with ourselves. We are recovering our identities and we will no longer be silent. Taking a stance for greatness will increase the opportunities presented to us and increase our self-esteem.
