Seasons of reflection: the journey of the sun as a symbol
Instead of seeing the Sun’s movement across the sky as a force acting on us, we can see each stage as a symbolic mirror: a meaningful coincidence that invites us to reflect. These rhythms can become reminders of the spiritual journey, pointing us toward deeper self-awareness and openness to Spirit.
As Scripture tells us: “Everything has its time, and everything under heaven has its moment.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Renewal and self-expression
This season symbolizes new beginnings, much like a birthday. It invites us to enter life with renewed vitality, to let our light shine and to remember the words of Christ: “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). The challenge is to balance confidence with humility, ensuring that our self-expression elevates others rather than closing us off to their needs.

Simplicity and administration
Here the focus is on what we value: our resources, our possessions, and the way we use them. This is a season to ask: Do I let material goods define my worth or do I see them as tools for generosity and care? True abundance is not found in what we keep but in what we share.

Connection and learning
This time fosters communication, community, and curiosity. It is a season to reconnect with those close to us, engage in important conversations, and be open to learning. Whether through reading, study or dialogue, our minds expand and sharpen. As Proverbs reminds us, “Iron sharpens iron, and one sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17).

Rest and release
Finally, this season symbolizes withdrawal. It is a moment of tranquility, contemplation and letting go of what we cannot carry into the future. In silence and dedication, we prepare for renewal. As the psalmist writes: “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).
