According SportHarry Kane is emerging as one of the most important names for the next summer transfer market, and FC Barcelona is considering him as a possible signing. The 32-year-old forward, currently at Bayern Munich, has a release clause of 65 million euros starting in the summer of 2026, when he will have one year left on his contract.
Kane, who signed for Bayern in 2023 for 95 million euros and became the highest-paid player in the Bundesliga, is weighing his future options without ruling out staying in Germany. This season he has been in exceptional form, scoring 22 goals in just 15 games in all competitions, reaffirming his status as one of Europe’s best strikers.
Barcelona, who are looking for a high-level number 9 to succeed Robert Lewandowski, see Kane as a viable option if financial conditions allow compliance with La Liga’s 1:1 rule. While Julián Álvarez and Erling Haaland remain preferred targets, their prices are prohibitive, making Kane’s fixed fee attractive.
However, wage demands could be a challenge as Kane earns €25m a year at Bayern.
