Vietnamese government approves draft law on e-commerce

The Vietnamese government recently approved the content of the draft law on e-commerce.

The bill consists of seven chapters and 55 articles, which define the rights and responsibilities of entities such as e-merchants, online entrepreneurs, e-commerce platforms, logistics, payment and advertising service providers, and foreign organizations and companies with cross-border activities in the country.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is responsible for the content of the bill, as well as the content of the reports of acceptance and explanation of the opinions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and government members on the law.
