A BRITISH man has been found dead between two parked cars at a Costa Blanca resort and police are investigating.
The body of the 50-year-old man was discovered on the ground in the town of Jávea, on the coast of Benidorm in southeastern Spain.

The alert sounded shortly before 7.45 in the morning in Jávea, about 45 minutes by car north of Benidorm.
The Civil Guard stated this afternoon that there were no obvious signs of violence at the scene, but insisted that they were still awaiting the results of the autopsy.
It is not yet clear whether the dead man was a local resident or vacationing in the area.
Police were called to the scene after a 999 call reached an emergency response center run by the regional government.

The area was cordoned off so that forensic agents could carry out their investigations on the street.
The Civil Guard has not yet made any official comment and is not expected to do so until it has received the autopsy results.
It is understood that British consulate officials have been informed.
In May 2023, a British woman died after collapsing while taking a dip in the sea at the resort’s Arenal beach.
Reports at the time said he had collapsed while in shallow water near the seashore.
Her relatives are believed to have pulled her out of the water while witnesses called emergency services.
