7 days, 7 looks – Susan after 60

Let’s start with Friday.

I had an early morning doctor’s appointment and then a meeting at the bank, so I got dressed for work. Later, I met Mr. Mickey for lunch at an outdoor cafe with sunny temperatures approaching eighty degrees.

Saturday

We were on our way to have lunch at Stony Knob Coffee on Saturday. The sun was shining as we enjoyed seventy degree temperatures.

Sunday

This look features what I wore to church on Sunday and to visit my parents in the afternoon. The weather was cloudy, with temperatures approaching seventy degrees. The jacket looks great with an all-white base, but we had the threat of rain for most of the day. I always avoid wearing light colored pants when it might rain, as it is almost impossible to remove stains from the dashboard.

On Monday, I do laundry, do some housework, and shop, so I wear something comfortable but easy to wear while I run an errand. Our weather turned colder, with temperatures in the forties, so I grabbed a jacket and some boots. Tuesday

On Tuesday I met a friend for lunch on her patio. The sun was shining and temperatures were in the mid-seventies. I threw a navy blue sweater over my shoulders for extra warmth if needed.

The last time I tucked in just the front of my shirt, many of you asked for a photo of the back. To style the shirt this way, I fold the back under, roll the edges up a little more than the back, and then tuck in just the front. It’s a way to define your waist without showing it completely.

Wednesday

On Wednesday my sister made us lunch and then we took a long walk along the paths along the river in South Holston Lake.
